Ohk! I will pray for her to get her PASSPORT asap.BTW Lord Buddha was born in LUMBINI,NEPAL not in INDIA.

Thank you for correcting me, yes Lord Budhha was born in Lumbini, Nepal, however he reached Enlightenment under a Bodhi Tree in Bihar, India, hence this place is equally sacred for all the Buddhists. You can still see the sacred tree there. This doesnt change things, she would still need a passport to fly either to India or Nepal for the pilgrimage. She has never been to Nepal and has no plans either to go there.
I dont know if you mean it in a sarcastic way or you mean it geniunely ,but either ways, thank you for taking an interest in my concern.

It amazes me how people are so quick to judge others. Instead of simply responding to a help i requested for, i am being put in a spot and questioned like we have some ulterior motives behind it.

Thank you everyone for your help. I got the advice i needed. God bless y'all.

Hi WaterLily. Don't get too discouraged. Your experience is typical of what I've seen experienced by others when asking for advice. In the end, you have to simply ignore the judgment from others and accept the good advice you receive. I did receive a chuckle from reading this thread when someone questioned why your 75 yr old Aunt would ever need citizenship when you clearly state, in the subject title no less, that she's 70. That alone should prove to you that you can take much of what's stated here with a grain of salt.
