Mistake on G325a - Best way to fix it

I am getting ready to send my wife's I-130 in and someone pointed out a mistake they found on her G325a. One of the dates for where she lived has the incorrect year. What are my options to fix this? Is it acceptable to white it out and hand write the correct date (the form was typed then printed and signed)? Should I instead write a letter explaining the mistake? Do I have to go to the trouble and expense of having my wife Fedex me a corrected and signed form? I can't believe I missed this with all the times I went over that form before I left the Philippines.

Let sleeping dogs lay - that is my suggestion. ;) I seriously doubt it will be an issue, typos happen. If at some point you or your wife get asked about it address it THEN. (doubt it will come up)

So worst case scenareo say they find the mistake and send me an RFE for it. How much time do you think it will set us back?

Maybe a week or so after you respond.

We are talking an address where your wife lived in the Phils ~ (think on that for a second) ;)

It is the date she lived at the address and it is an odvious mistake. the year is supposed to be 2011 but is 2014 and the dates are not sequential with it like that.

Hey do what makes you feel best.. delay filing and get a new G-325A from your wife, or not... what causes you the least stress is important.

I think I will just send it as is after seeing it will cost $66 to Fedex me another one. I just want to make sure a possible RFE down the road wont cause long delays. If I get an RFE it isn't a big deal to just have my wife Fedex me a new form to send in at that point as long as it wont cause major delays. I am wondering if maybe I should attach a letter explaining the typo or just hope they don't notice.

I wouldn't add a letter ... I would just send it as is, it is a typos and odds are it will not be an issue... that is my gut feeling. If you get asked about it, then fix it
