Lost divorce papers

I am about to file my AOS, EAD and AP but my sponsor lost her Divorce papers from 2 previous marriages. I have her supporting documents for the Affidavit of support: birth certificate, marriage certificate, certificate of employment, 6 current paystubs, w2s, tax return forms. But the problem is, her birth certificate and marriage certificate and the other documents have different names because this is her 3rd marriage. Would it be okay if i submit the papers without the divorce papers? Would there be any problems? Is there anyway i can do something?

Is she your wife? If so she would've had to submit them for the k1. She needs copies for the aos.

No she is my joint sponsor, my husband's mom.

Why would a joint sponsor need to provide a marriage certificate or divorce decrees? They need to supply an I-864 and the supporting documents for that form are most recent tax transcript, proof of current annual income and proof of being a USC or LPR. If they are a USC, they can provide a copy of their US birth certificate or the biographical page of their US passport.

My joint sponsor's birth certificate and supporting documents has different last names because she got married 3times. That's why i thought we need to provide marriage certificate and divorce papers since the names are different. Also she doesn't have an up to date passport.

Please confirm if it's alright to submit birth certificate and other documents have different last names.

Birth certificate = Maiden Name

W2s, paystubs, etc = 3rd Marriage last name

Nowhere in the I-864 instructions does it ask for other documents to prove name change.
