Hello guys... just stoping by to ask if someone else is having problems to pay the fee and schedule interview. CEAC case status says ready, we got the e-mail from the consulate and when I try to create the account to pay the fee, it says "case not ready for appointment". I'm from Brazil. I know I should ask on my regional thread, and I did, but I'm just wondering if any other country got this issue or it's a problem exclusive to the Rio consulate. I know at least one other brazilian beneficiary went through the same. Does anyone from other countries knows anything?

Can beneficiary apply for DS-160 now? When to pay the fee, now and after receiving P3? Case is in transit.

you can fill the ds-160 with your nvc case number and then save it. you re gonna use it to schedule interview. they ask ds-160 number and nvc number as much as i know.

I think "Application Receipt/Petition Number" means USCIS Case No. not NVC case No. So we ve to put uscis case No. in the DS-160 form.

We received the hardcopy of RFE and we really wondered what are the missing documents that they needed as what we thought confidently that we sent the package completely. The RFE is passport copy of my fiance, so we thought they lost it or miss looked in the package we sent. But its all okey, atleast our case is already moving. My fiance will going to reply on RFE tomorrow.. So i hope after that, it will not take long to approved lol hehee. We are just so really happy that the RFE was that easy to comply. He will be coming to my country this Sept. 6, to come with me on the interview as what our planned and estimated time but guess what... The whole time he's here will be a vacation for us.. Yohoooooo.. Since we cant have medical exam or interview yet. Hahahhaa... But its still great to do things with him though.... I really wish he could be with me in the interview.. Overall, this RFE is a GOOD NEWS for us!heheeh

To those who are waiting, just keep your faith and hopes high.It may takes a long time to wait , but its all gonna be worth it, especially this will all end up being together with our someone. Just hang on.
