My fiance and I spent 6 hours yesterday completing the ds160 application its a pain.

i dont know if we submitted it too early or not. my case is already at the embassy , its been there for 12 days still havent heard anything from them. since now we completed the ds160, whats next? do we take the confirmation to the bank so he can pay the fee? can we schedule the medical and interview right now? if though we havent heard from the embassy yet?

Hey sometimes they don't send anything to you or your fiance(e). if the case on line says "ready" that means that you can schedule an interview. after you do that you call to the doctor for the medical he needs the interview date.

Hey sometimes they don't send anything to you or your fiance(e). if the case on line says "ready" that means that you can schedule an interview. after you do that you call to the doctor for the medical he needs the interview date.

I did..!! I know some of the question are confuse at least you have you case ready to go mine is stuck at NVC for almost 2 weeks now. they gave me the case number on Aug 15 but they don't send the case to the embassy 2 weeks waiting my case moved faster at USCIS they also send it faster to NVC now they decide yo keep there doing nothing because I have a case number already.

Finally my case is in transit to the Consulate ..!!! and I just sent them an email requesting an explanation of why they are holding my case there.

This issue might related with embassy in country that application go thru. i read somewhere, cant recall now, that embassy sometimes made NVC to hold applications because of the workload. i dont know how much is true :/

i hope we hear something from the USCIS today or atleast this week. My noa1is May 23 and were 92 days now and still " case received " does anybody here has an earlier Noa1 than me and is still waiting for the Noa2.

anybody had tried calling the USCIS ? what did they said?

Finally got an update from online. Aug. 24, 2016 when they mailed my Fiance a Request for Additional Evidence. Its worth keep tracking everyday online . I hope after this will not take too long.

I just checked my status of application online and got RFE mailed August 24. Me and my fiance are waiting right now for the hard copy. I hope it will not take too long for him to received.
