It really seems random, I assume it's how the packets are shipped and distributed for adjudication that causes the sequencing blips. I would love to see an accurate process flow

For sure that would be great to see and I bet it would be an interesting workflow. A site visit would be cool too. Maybe we could help them out a bit. Lol

There is an interesting thread on here called...

What causes delay between NOA2 and NVC case number?

It's about 3 peoples files that have been lost between USCIS and NVC. I feel horrible for them. But it ties into exactly what you said about how the packets are shipped and distributed. Like in batches. Processed the same way too.

Hope we can hear for us soon.

Any one, whose case number was assigned on or about Aug. 19, got any case status update? Is yours still at NVC like mine?

mine is there since Aug 12 ..!!! I called them today and they told me that everything is ok they will send it soon.

I also asked them "why are you holding my case is more than a week now I've seen cases sent the day after assigned a case number" and she told me not all the cases are the same you have to wait until we send it to Embassy

She also said that I will receive an email stating that my case in in transit. Im just mad because my case moved faster thru USCIS and also they sent it to NVC faster and now they keep it there doing nothing.
