It is information on the beneficiary, and it's supposed to be the beneficiary electronically signing the form. There is a question that asks did you have help filling out the form. You could assist with the form, but the beneficiary needs to be the one signing their name.

So RFE RESPONSE RECEIVED it says on August 11.. How long do you think it would take to get approved? This is so heart breaking. :'(

From what I've seen people posting recently, as soon as 4 days, up to 2 weeks. Of course, we all know USCIS does their own thing, and could be super quick, or take an eternity! LOL! Hope you get an approval soon!

you will need your case number for the DS-160.

you can fill but don't submit until you get it ... or wait and fill after you get it.

Quick question guys. we are waiting for the NVC to receive the application and apply a case number, however it appears i can submit my DS-160 form online via electronic signature already?

can i go ahead or do i need to wait for a case number?

We got it today and tried to send the stuff in few hours there where left of post office working so I was pretty much freaking out, not being able to get any information together ))

Now back on track for approval)

when you chose visa type as K1 it ask for Application Receipt/Petition Number.

unless the DS-160 are different from country to country

Yes, isnt the petition number the WAC number from the USCIS? maybe im wrong but id like to clarify if anyone knows?

you are right it is better to get it clarified. it is obvious that embassy will use the Case number from NVC not the WAC from USCIS.

but i can be wrong!

We checked the question mark next to this, and it seemed to us that we were to use the USCIS number. We did use the WAC number, submitted, and mailed off to the embassy. I guess we'll know in the next week or so if we get an interview letter or not! Lol!

I hope we don't get a 221g, my fiancé is deployed somewhere in the Middle East and the NVC letter hasn't reached his PO BOX yet.

Our lawyer said, it wouldn't be a problem going to the interview without the NVC letter. Any experience?

Another query: I'm concerned about our age gap. I'm the female, 23 years old, and I'm 2 years his senior. Lawyer says, it's not a big deal. Should I stop worrying?

It won't be a problem, you will need to NOA 2 for AOS, but you can always reorder, if needed.

YES STOP WORRYING!!! 2 years is nothing, I promise!!! That's perfectly fine!

Take a deep breath, everything is going to be just fine! It's normal to be nervous, but if these are your biggest concerns, you have it made! My advice...start getting wedding ideas now, you're going to need them very soon!!
