Congrats guys. We had the same NOA1, we got approved on 8th so it seems they are wrapping up May now! hopefully its all sent to NVC in the next few days and we have only a few week wait!!

anyone on here have an updated time scale for NOA2 to NVC at this stage. i was looking around and it seems 2/3 weeks but i wonder if anyone can confirm this estimation.

I know the standard call after 2 weeks everyday until you get the case number so ill be onto that shortly.

Our NOA 2 was July 21, and we were at NVC with a case number 2 weeks and 1 day later.

So hard now that we have to wait for RFE mail.

Tracking other cases and checking the app 10 times a day was giving me some kind of comfort and now I can't check anything that would give me a clue about any progress.. Ugh.. :(

Ok perfect, thanks for letting me know. I have read over the overview thread by Nich-Nick, so i think i'm pretty up to date with most things.

I have my police cert, Birth Cert, vaccinations up to date and recorded, passport photos ( US and UK sizes) and i have the I-134 with supporting evidence from my Fiance ( im the non US citizen) i Assume i cant fill out the DS-160, or book a medical until i have received the NVC case number?

anything else i may have forgotten?

thanks,

Actually the DS-160 only requires the USCIS number, not the NVC. It is a PAIN! Once we received NOA 2, we started on the DS-160, did not submit, and saved it. You can save it for up to 30 days. When my fiance got packet 3 yesterday (which requires us to mail in the DS-160 confirmation page) we were able to simply go back to our saved DS-160, submit, print ( took less than 5 minutes), and mail off packet 3 the same day it was received. I would highly suggest it this way!

We are Netherlands, which has a little different process than London, but I think from what I've read you are correct that you need to wait for NVC number to schedule that. I know London has changed recently to allow some online scheduling, which is wonderful!

The only other thing I can think of that you may need would be proof of ongoing relationship. I've seen where a lot of people never get asked for it at the interview, but some do. And what does London do about police certificates? That might be something you could start trying to get (sorry, I don't know the process for you). Aside from those two things, that's all I can think of, sounds like you're well prepared!

I wanted to add...if you're like me (obsessed, lol) you will be making a ton of calls to NVC for the case number. After you give your USCIS number, if they ask your name...get ready to write down a case number! That was the only time I was asked anything aside from WAC # and receipt date, as soon as the lady asked my name I began squealing and saying "you have it, don't you? omg! it's there", she just laughed and said yes, now get yourself a pen! Lol!

Just wanted to say we are in the same boat as you, RFE updated on USCIS website as of August 9th. Feeling sick to my stomach worried about what it could possibly be.. wishing you the best of luck.

The RFE officer got us too.

We provided everything plus more.

We even got a lawyer to ease the headaches.

Looks like us last batches of May got the torch.

We are going the same path.

Here for all of you going thru this.

Love will win.

You can call either the immigrant or nonimmigrant line. I noticed longer wait times on the immigrant line (which are to be expected), but either line should be able to give you the information.

Immigrant line - 603-334-0700

Non immigrant line - 603-334-0888

Typically, the person will ask for the receipt number first off. Other times when they've said "may I help you", I've said that I wanted to know if my case had been received from USICS. Or something along those lines. It's painless, the hardest part is the hold time.

Our case is in transit now. Does anyone know if we can track the case through DHL somehow? Thanks!

On DHL go to track by shippers reference (it's under the first heading on the far left).

The first box put in EXP 05 AUG 2016A

(The EXP stays constant, change the date to be one day prior to your package leaving NVC, also the A stays constant)

Put in the appropriate date ranges

The next box you can leave blank (think it's account)

Select your country.

Now there's no way to tell exactly which of those is your package, but it gives you a good guess on transit times. We were lucky enough to be the only package that left that day going to Netherlands, so it was easy to tell it was us.

Let me know if this is too vague, I'm trying to recall from memory, and on my phone at the moment so I'm unable to give good step by step without having it in front of me!

Hello guys!

I have a question... I just got my NVC case number. What do I do with it? I checked the case status at the CEAC website, it says "at NVC" and it states that I should follow the six steps instructions NVC sent me... it has a link to a NVC's website saying the instructions ban be seen there, but these instructions have nothing to do with K1 process. They involve choosing an agent , paying fees, sending forms. And I didn't received any e-mail from them! What does it mean? Is is just a general statement for immigrant visas? How do I know when it has been forwarded to the embassy?

I'm from Brazil, by the way.

just ignore the message it is something standard.. when it says "in Transit" that means your petition is sent to embassy. " ready" means your petition arrived to embassy .
