Hi everyone! We finally got our case number from NVC. We tried tracking it but says the number is invalid? We are currently in China, what are the next steps? Please help we are so desperate to leave her in October thank you ❤❤

A work permit is called an EAD. You can apply for an EAD as soon as you enter BUT it will only be good until the 90 days from your arrival and since it takes 60-90 days to get the card it is pointless

That dose not apply to k1 visas but to spousal visas your interview will be booked via your embassy not NVC.

Wait for Parcel 3 (which asks for DS160 confirmation page, a copy of the passport info page, and two photos, if I'm not mistaken). After you send these back to the consulate, there will be an email instructing you to schedule the interview.

I feel your pain it really sucks big time -_-

Same here w/ a May 5th date. Been getting a lot of notices from the USCIS app about "similar" cases with RFEs finally being touched though. Hmm.

NVC received our case and now, it's finally IN TRANSIT!!! (NOA1: 5/18/16, NOA2: 7/18/16)

I'm so stoked!!!

Time to schedule my medical exam and interview. :D

OMG I just checked our case and its APPROVED!!!!!!

Thank you LORD..Thank you everyone for the help..I know we still need to do a lot of things. But we're so grateful that we passed the first step!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing:

May 9,2016: = sent i-129f to USCIS

May 13,2016 : = uscis app NOA1

May 17,2016: = NOA1 rcvd and dated same date

June 16, 2016: = Updated petitioner Date of Birth ( USCIS mispelled it )

August 3,2016: = NOA2. I checked our case to app and its APRROVED!!!! yehey "Thanks LORD" :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:

August 9,2016: = NOA2 hardcopy received Dated August 3,2016 :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:
August 16, 2016: = NVC RECEIVED OUR CASE :)
Aug 18, 2016: = Case # INV #
CASE STATUS: = "IN TRANSIT" praying to be ready so soon!! (L)
Aug 21, 2016: = Case Status " READY " thank you LORD. :idea:
Aug 22, 2016: = Received Packet 3. But found out our case mistakenly sent to wrong US Embassy. :cry:
Aug 28,2016: = CASE IN TRANSFER PROCESSING :idea:
Sept 1, 2016: = CASE Received by Abu Dhabi USEM status "READY" ...YESSS :)
Sept 7:29: = case status date change still "READY"
October 20,2016: = RECEIVED PACKET 3!! YAY..THANK YOU LORD
October 27,2016: = Interview. Guide me O' Lord and approved our petition. Thank you. :) APPROVED!!!!!!!!!

Seeing the approvals is bitter sweet, happy it's moving forward but sad to be still waiting. I am a June filer, so not expecting anything yet, but nice to see continuous progress on the backlog g

Says your search did not return any data !!!
