That dose not apply to k1 visas but to spousal visas your interview will be booked via your embassy not NVC.

05/19/2016 -- NOA1 email and text, case routed to California Center (WAC) ==== NOA1 Date 05/18/2016
07/20/2016 -- NOA2 email from USCIS case Status and USCIS App ===== Case approved in 63 Days
08/03/2016 -- NVC Case # and Invoice ID Assigned
08/15/2016 -- Packet 3 Received (email)

09/19/2016 -- Finally the embassy open interview date after long wait ... 35 Days (interview scheduled for Oct 10)

10/05/2016 -- Medical done. but no sealed envelope given.

10/10/2016 -- Interview day 1 ( pay the fee, deliver paperwork, finger printed ... and told to comeback tomorrow to be interviewed by a CO )

10/11/2016 -- Interview day 2 ( AP with g221 for missing medical )

A work permit is called an EAD. You can apply for an EAD as soon as you enter BUT it will only be good until the 90 days from your arrival and since it takes 60-90 days to get the card it is pointless

New this website, sent my petition end of May, got my NOA1 May 23rd to be exact. Still haven't gotten NOA2? Anybody else on the same boat? or am I the unlucky one :( Any info will help, I'm going crazy with this waiting.

New this website, sent my petition end of May, got my NOA1 May 23rd to be exact. Still haven't gotten NOA2? Anybody else on the same boat? or am I the unlucky one :( Any info will help, I'm going crazy with this waiting.

Application sent May 14th and got our NOA1 May18th and we are still waiting for NOA2. We also still waiting and even filed ahead of you. We just have to keep our faith that GOD is gonna help us with this journey. God bless us all that's still waiting and Congratulations to everyone that got more progress in their journey.

Don't be dismayed, there are alot of early & mid May filers who haven't had there petition touched let alone approved or RFE'd. You will get your approval soon, just keep the faith!.

While I don't agree in the order in which app's are proccessed, I am very happy for those who have already received their approval or RFE. And for those who are still waiting, don't be impatient, God is only taking his time to perfect your approval. I think May filers process is going pretty fast compared to March or even April...

So I sent my RFE reponse on July 29th and it was received on August 1st. I wonder how long should we wait? I hope it won't take months ?

By the way, this might be a stupid question but I'll ask anyway.. In the RFE mail, I noticed the Alien # different from my original A# since I was a naturalized citizen. Anyone can tell me what's its significance/meaning? Thank you so much in advance!?

RFE's on average usually takes about

1-4weeks to approve.

Check it againt your Naturalization Certificate #.
