A work permit is called an EAD. You can apply for an EAD as soon as you enter BUT it will only be good until the 90 days from your arrival and since it takes 60-90 days to get the card it is pointless

That dose not apply to k1 visas but to spousal visas your interview will be booked via your embassy not NVC.

The hard copy will have more details ... Mine took 7 days to Get home ... Now we are just guessing and thinking what it is about ... I hope they will give you enough time to gather what they why and reply back !!

My mom just told me she will do whatever she can and help in anyway. If I don't have enough time I'll just have to come back and get married. I will have to take my daughter home for school and come back for a few weeks and get married. I'm not gonna waste another 5 months waiting or refilling. F that! Thank you though I'll let you know. I'm sure the hard copy will come by Friday or Monday. I got my noa1 5 days after I got the notification and it was 5 because Sunday the 30th of May and the 31 was a holiday.

I got an RFE case was updated today. Not sure what to do cause I won't be home for another 2 weeks.

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully, it's just for a small oversight, and you will have a quick, simple fix!

05.12.16 - Petition received at USCIS

05.16.16 - NOA 1

05.21.16 - Hard copy NOA 1

07.21.16 - NOA 2

07.25.16 - Hard copy of NOA 2

08.05.16 - NVC case number assigned

08.10.16 - Case received at consulate, packet 3 received, DS-160 submitted

08.11.16 - Packet 3 mailed to embassy

08.18.16 - Packet 4 received, visa fee paid, letter from NVC arrived

09.02.16 - Medical

09.22.16 - Interview, received 221(g) :crying:, Case changed to administrative processing for missing documents :protest:

10.03.16 - Mailed off response to 221(g), bye bye passport

10.04.16 - Package containing documents + passport arrived at the Amsterdam consulate

10.17.16 - Approved!!!

10.18.16- Visa in hand! :dancing:

Please stop worrying so much. USCIS is notorious for misplacing ppl's file, evidence etc. They misplaced or overlooked my passport stamped pages( customer service rep said, "they just needed to verify info" and requested them again. Fcuking pissed me off. It could be something real simple they overlooked or misplaced.

That sounds great ... I'm sure your mom will help you make it work ... Think positively and don't worry about another 5 months I don't think it will go that far to refill ... Everything will be fine and you will answer their RFE in time and get your fiancé there !!

The nice thing is that when you find out its something simple and you return it they usually process those returns right away. All is good. They touched your file and didn't deny it.

For those that missed it.... What i said was that its like watching the guy on the slot machine next to you win the progressive jackpot.

For those that missed it.... What i said was that its like watching the guy on the slot machine next to you win the progressive jackpot.

No I don't but it could be worse they could have lost my file or denied me.

No no my friend im in Morocco for another 2 weeks. I can't do anything until I get home or my mom helps me. Depends on what they are looking for.

Yes I am with him. I came here for the summer with my daughter. I have been here since the end of June. It is a good thing for sure. I the USC is the woman the beneficiary is the male lol
