You guys can correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding is that the notifications do not come out for approvals until after the office has closed. I think it is usually around 9:30pm central time, so we still have just under 5 hours to wait. I am sure there will be some lucky May filers tonight :)

And sometimes even 11:30pm. SMDH

A work permit is called an EAD. You can apply for an EAD as soon as you enter BUT it will only be good until the 90 days from your arrival and since it takes 60-90 days to get the card it is pointless

That dose not apply to k1 visas but to spousal visas your interview will be booked via your embassy not NVC.

oh so they approve cases at night? instead of during the day? Well I am looking forward to tonight!!! thank you for the relief!!

CSC works from 8am to 6pm PST. The notifications go through after their systems update. So it seems people are getting their emails late at night and the app is on another hour delay from posts I've read. You'll get your text and email before the app alerts you from what I understand. It is not that they approve them at night it is just when the notifications come through.

Just have to wait it out, they are currently on the mid may filers, I haven't seen too many end of may filers yet. I'm sure your time is coming up! Best of luck!

01/04/2017  -- Interview--> Approval!! :dancing:

Ive noticed with april filers, uscis where flying through them, however with may it seems extremely slow:(

yeah I noticed the same thing. it seems like more people applied for this kind of visa in May and June. I see like more than 500 cases received only in one day.

how can you see 500 cases around your case? I can only see about 20 cases who filed for i129f but the rest are the i130, i539 and i765. I am unable to see the 500 cases for only i129f:(
