I think the USCIS has been speeding up though. Our lawyer has called the NVC, and they don't have our file yet. :(

We got approved on the 18th of this month.

It might take til the first week of August til it gets there. :clock:

Someone with NOA 2 of July 7th or 8th (cant' remember for certain) received their case number today. So yes, I would say 2-3 weeks seems to be about the right time frame now. I'm so happy because it was only a couple weeks ago that it was taking up to 6 weeks to get there!

I am not so optimistic about it. Because its Friday already and USCIS are probably excited to go home now and start their weekends. ??? Edited by hisbaby1604

Tonight I just want to wish all my fellow May filers a safe and peaceful weekend...I'm so excited for those that have been approved yet the journey still continues. For my comrades that are still waiting like my fiancé and I; please remember not to solely focus on the success of your petition but continue to honor and love each other everyday forward. I have noticed that the stress from preparing and waiting can get you a bit down; lately it has become a major topic of "when when will it happen". Anthony and I are remaining prayerful that we will soon be together in holy matrimony and hope the same for you all...the saying goes "why worry when you can pray" give it all to your higher power; we sure are. Good night and God Bless

Hello All, I have been following couple of month cases like April and May, I am myself June filler. I know it is hard and for some of us it is very hard. It will all get in place for all very soon.

Please don't loose hope!

As we all know if we all want to be happy in a marriage and am sure we all will, then we have to be happy for our selves too. Either he or she will always support each other and communication is a key! don't let it all our here, talk to your significant other and find solutions for the time being to help each other overcome this all.

Reason why i say that is, we only see a fracture of cases here and now on Igors List shows there is 170 cases pending, or something like that, but in reality, i have just check May 24th submissions only and there is around 180 cases itself for I129F.

Please lets all be patient and positive.

You are all doing great!

Calling all RFE's receivers!

Received RFE text 7/26

Hardcopy mail 7/29

I opened up the envelope and to my surprise inside were the original copies of our birth certificates, but no request for additional evidence. I'm so lost right now. What should I do?

I would call them. Maybe they're only wanting a copy of the birth certificates mailed back? I'm surprised they didn't put additional information in there on exactly what they want! You aren't a mind reader!!!
