A work permit is called an EAD. You can apply for an EAD as soon as you enter BUT it will only be good until the 90 days from your arrival and since it takes 60-90 days to get the card it is pointless

That dose not apply to k1 visas but to spousal visas your interview will be booked via your embassy not NVC.

2 months and 2 days since my noa1, where are you noa2??? I really miss my fiance and Im impatient with things, ohh this process is teaching me to be patient. Please noa2 come already:(

same here :( last night I dreamed that we got our approval hahaha hope this week we get ours!

OMG I had the same type of dream last night too! But it was only one old man doing the approvals, with a grey beard and a fedora. Then the dream got weird. lol

As much as we are thinking about it during the day, its making our nights misrable .lol

Anyone has an idea when we could get ours? My app doesnt really show an cases around mine being approved/denied/rfe...:(

please anyone can you tell me what yours say, i need some sort a relief :(

I see that your NOA 1 is May 23. My NOA 1 was May 16th and my NOA 2 came last Thursday the 21st. If things keep going at this pace, I would guess you to have yours this week or the beginning of the next. Best of luck that it comes soon!

09.22.16 - Interview, received 221(g) :crying:, Case changed to administrative processing for missing documents :protest:

10.03.16 - Mailed off response to 221(g), bye bye passport

10.04.16 - Package containing documents + passport arrived at the Amsterdam consulate

10.17.16 - Approved!!!

10.18.16- Visa in hand! :dancing:

Just asking... After you receive your noa2 hard copy you wait and nvc will send you a letter letting you kno your case is being sent to the us embassy your significant other is at?

You probably won't receive the letter from NVC until after the packet has already been sent to the embassy. It is suggested to begin calling 2-3 weeks after receiving NOA 2 and ask if your case has been received, and get the case number. You can register there using the number to track it from NVC. Once the embassy receives, they will notify your fiancé with packet 3. Search the country specific forums for your embassy for more detailed information.

Lol I've seen people post on here that they sent the application only and sent cash for payment with no pics, no letters, nothing but the application and wondered why they got rejected or an RFE ??? sorry I thought it was funny. You are not the only one who ever left out information. At least 2 weeks from when you send it in you'll have your approval!

It's ok, things happen for a reason haha! The only thing that I'm anxious about is my fiancé's letter. He will mail it today and I just hope it will only take a week for me to receive it from the Philippines.

And yes, I am claiming that after 2 weeks of sending our RFE response, the approval will come!??

got the NOA2 in the mail - 4 days after the approved date online.

Will update my timeline tomorrow.

EDIT:

kinda disappointed that did not get a text.

Will check what email I used and check that mailbox tomorrow as well.

Our NOA1 was last May 17 and until now were still waiting for NOA2. :(

May 9,2016: = sent i-129f to USCIS

May 13,2016 : = uscis app NOA1

May 17,2016: = NOA1 rcvd and dated same date

June 16, 2016: = Updated petitioner Date of Birth ( USCIS mispelled it )

August 3,2016: = NOA2. I checked our case to app and its APRROVED!!!! yehey "Thanks LORD" :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:

August 9,2016: = NOA2 hardcopy received Dated August 3,2016 :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:
August 16, 2016: = NVC RECEIVED OUR CASE :)
Aug 18, 2016: = Case # INV #
CASE STATUS: = "IN TRANSIT" praying to be ready so soon!! (L)
Aug 21, 2016: = Case Status " READY " thank you LORD. :idea:
Aug 22, 2016: = Received Packet 3. But found out our case mistakenly sent to wrong US Embassy. :cry:
Aug 28,2016: = CASE IN TRANSFER PROCESSING :idea:
Sept 1, 2016: = CASE Received by Abu Dhabi USEM status "READY" ...YESSS :)
Sept 7:29: = case status date change still "READY"
October 20,2016: = RECEIVED PACKET 3!! YAY..THANK YOU LORD
