Just checked my status and:

On July 20, 2016, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number xxxxxxx. We will mail your approval notice.

I need to check my mailbox tomorrow in case the letter has come. I was hoping for a text, but nothing.

Woot.

Congrats to all the NOA2 recipients!

I just received the RFE mail today after 3 days of getting the email notification. My fiancé and I are happy to see that they did not ask for anything out of this world! Lol! Apparently, I was right with my intuition that our lack of his letter of intent to marry is the reason for the RFE. Unfortunately, it's the weekends, but will definitely send the document on Monday, will have it expedited if possible.

Why would you submit the packet without that very TINY bit of information?

Also, I know digital is faster than snail mail, but does anyone have an estimate on when we will receive the actual NOA2?

I received my hard copy of NOA2 4 days after being approved. And from I seen of others they all received in the same timeframe.

Wow, I'm sorry I'm not perfect and I didn't notice I forgot about that "very TINY bit of information". But you don't have to rub it in. Edited by ninatags

Nina, don't let that sh!t bother you, obviously it was an oversight. No use crying over spilt milk. Just reply to the RFE and you'll be on your way to the next step.

RFE'D or NOA2's both are good news. Because it means your application have been touched. I am sure that once you sent your reply the NOA2 will be on its way in no time. Congratulations btw and Good luck to all of us that's still waiting. God bless us all.

Thanks! And don't worry I'm not bothered by it.? My fiancé and I are very thankful because at least we know our case is being processed. 45 days from our notice date (excluding weekends), I got the email notification for RFE, and that was quick in my opinion.

Exactly my thoughts! Thank you and good luck as well! And let's just trust God's perfect timing.?

That's right. GOD's timing is always the perfect timing. We just have to trust HIM. God bless us all and good luck to the rest of the journey.

Lol I've seen people post on here that they sent the application only and sent cash for payment with no pics, no letters, nothing but the application and wondered why they got rejected or an RFE ??? sorry I thought it was funny. You are not the only one who ever left out information. At least 2 weeks from when you send it in you'll have your approval!

My timeline said July 18th to july 21st. I got NOA2 on July 11th. So about a week ahead of the timeline. I put no credibility into those timelines because some people dont even enter the correct NOA1 dates or after they get NOA2 they dont update their timelines for days which has an influence on our timelines.
