yeah it is weird for me also. We can say they don`t check how long you met with each other or the age cap. :D

and don`t forget that they didn`t get their visa yet. Till interview they are still pending for visa. Last decision will made after interview. If you would ask me it will be no. It really looks like fake relationship and marrying someone who you met for only 2 days. They will think it is not a real relationshop. I don`t want to judge them. But uscis will judge them.

I'm not judging them. Anything and everything is possible. They can really love each other. I guess it's the process that really pisses me off.

Ours is sent May 14th and NOA1 was May 16th, still no NOA2. Hopefully God will let us have ours next week

Are you sure NOA 1 date is the 16th? If yours was sent on the 14th, I would think the 16th would be your receive date. Check the actual hard copy of the NOA 1 for notice date, and that date will be your NOA 1. For example, ours was received on the 12th (that's what it says on the USCIS website), but our NOA 1 date (actual notice date) is the 16th. However, the NOA 1 date won't be too far off from the receive date, so yes, hopefully you will hear something next week! Fingers crossed for you!

05.12.16 - Petition received at USCIS

05.16.16 - NOA 1

05.21.16 - Hard copy NOA 1

07.21.16 - NOA 2

07.25.16 - Hard copy of NOA 2

08.05.16 - NVC case number assigned

08.10.16 - Case received at consulate, packet 3 received, DS-160 submitted

08.11.16 - Packet 3 mailed to embassy

08.18.16 - Packet 4 received, visa fee paid, letter from NVC arrived

09.02.16 - Medical

09.22.16 - Interview, received 221(g) :crying:, Case changed to administrative processing for missing documents :protest:

10.03.16 - Mailed off response to 221(g), bye bye passport

10.04.16 - Package containing documents + passport arrived at the Amsterdam consulate

10.17.16 - Approved!!!

10.18.16- Visa in hand! :dancing:

10.21.16 - POE

Well, its actually 18th of May is the received date that shows on the hard copy of NOA1. But I figure its still 16th of May because that's the date it shows when we checked on USCIS site. You know when it says " We received your ......" and it says there May 16th. So I figure its May 16th, isn't? Anyway, we are praying and keep on hoping that next week is our turn. I keep on seeing on the USCIS app that most of the filers near mine is getting approved or RFE'd. So in God's grace we are hoping for our turn next week.

Theres a "received date" and a "Notice Date". The Notice Date is in the right corner of the I-797 and that is your "NOA1"

Yeah its actually the first time I hate weekends. Hahahha.... Its very unusual for us to feel that way, I know. But weekends means no one is working on our applications. I really pray that ours will be next week's turn. Mine ends in 7933 and I have seen 7934 upwards that's been approved or RFE'd already. So our family are praying so hard so it can our turn.

Thank you very much. Good luck to all of us. Getting NOA2's isn't the end of all our journey. But its one step closer. In GOD's time we all will be with the love of our lives. But I also know that waiting is a very hard thing to do. God bless us all guys!

During this process and the waiting that seems to go on forever, a couple of days can feel like an eternity! As I said, my notice date was the 16th, so with yours being the 18th Monday may very well be your long awaited day! I just wanted you to have a little relief if you're seeing dates with the 16th pass, and give you some extra encouragement, it's right around the corner! And you'll be one step closer to your sweetheart! Good luck to all those that are waiting!

Thank you very much for the encouragement. It really helps a lot with all our waiting and hoping. That's why I like checking on here in our forum most of the time. Because of all the updates I am seeing and it does give me a lot of encouragement. God bless us all and good luck to us all that's still waiting. I pray that we will get our NOA2 this coming week. ???
