Just gunna post my flow chart here so those of you waiting on NOA2 can kinda guesstimate your own timeframe.

I129 sent April 27

Received April 29 (I received text and email)

Hardcopy NOA1 arrived May 5th. (Notice Date May 3rd)

NOA2 July 11 (Received text, email & app notifications at 7:30pm west coast time)

Hardcopy NOA2 received July 15 (I am near Phoenix Arizona 350 miles from L.A. so 4 days for delivery).

As I stated in other comments I believe there are more May filers being approved everyday but they are using the date they received text or email as their NOA1 date. That is not the right date tho. Its the "Notice Date" that is actually on the hardcopy of the NOA1. So as a boost of confidence to all of you USCIS is still flying thru april & may. You guys are next. Good luck with the rest of your journeys!

I've been watching cases close to mine , and have seen as late as May 10th approvals.

Ive been monitoring cases on the USCIS Case Tracker app and lots of cases around me are either approved or RFEd! (But I'm on received date may 02). Makes me soooo impatient to get at least some sign from them haha.

12/12/12 Met in San Francisco, CA (L)

07/02/13-present in a LDR, having been able to meet once or twice a year (for several months at a time, luckily!)

04/27/16 Filed I-129

05/02/16 NOA1 email

05/05/16 NOA1 notice date (L)

It would so be appreciated if they went by received date and not just by some random pick. This sh!ts frustrating!

I'm on May 10th received date and I truly think it's unfair to skip over previous dates.

Hard copy June 1st because of Memorial Day.

I don't know what my notice date is in not home so I can't even check. I should get my noa2 before I get home. I don't know what took them so long to send me my noa1 or cash my check. It could be because I had to send extra papers that most people don't for personal reasons. =) good luck though!!

Congratulations to all the latest approvals :dancing::dancing: . I have been away for work for the past week so its nice to come home to see USCIS officially started on may filers.

For the others that are waiting, hopefully not long till we hear something  It is a pain that they don't pick files in any particular order but more randomly. I know some early and mid april filers still have not heard anything which is very unfair. Hope they get their approvals soon too.

Yes, it does. I have been tracking a few cases in addition to mine and I was notified when they got approved.
