My fiancee has lived and worked in a couple of countries so it'll take awhile to get all her police clearances. It is all good since she has some work commitments until Feb 2017. We're patiently waiting and I'll visit her in the meantime. All this waiting will be worth it! :lol:

Frustrating... But definitely worth it! And looks like they are onto March filers now. Thats good.

A work permit is called an EAD. You can apply for an EAD as soon as you enter BUT it will only be good until the 90 days from your arrival and since it takes 60-90 days to get the card it is pointless

That dose not apply to k1 visas but to spousal visas your interview will be booked via your embassy not NVC.

That's fantastic! I got my e-notification on the 13th, hoping for my NOA1 soon. I live in Florida and my fiance is in London. I'm hoping the process goes quicker than expected because due to work I may not be able to visit him.

Ahh Florida is lovely. I have been there so many times. Very different to Oregon. Hopefully you will be able to visit your fiance at some stage. I'm hoping the process goes quick enough too, hate waiting Lol.

Hello everyone! Sent off I-129F Packet on 11th May and received NOA1 text/email notification on 17th May! Just waiting for hard copy now. Looks like its going to be a long wait :(

17/05/2016 - Received NOA1 Text/Email Notification - Routed to California Service Center 

25/05/2016 - Received NOA1 Hardcopy - notice date of 16/05/2016

09/06/2016 - Up to date with vaccinations

29/07/2016 - Received NOA2 text/email notification! (74 days) 

05/08/2016 - Received NOA2 Hardcopy (I-797)

09/08/2016 - Sent ACRO Police Certificate Application

11/08/2016- NVC Received packet!

11/08/2016 - NVC Case number assigned on the same day as NVC received! yayyy

Hello everyone! Sent off I-129F Packet on 11th May and received NOA1 text/email notification on 17th May! Just waiting for hard copy now. Looks like its going to be a long wait :(

At least you got your notification for your NOA1. I sent mine on May 6th and have not even gotten an NOA1 notification or paper copy =(

I mailed mine May 6th they relieved it May 9th and I still have heard nothing at all. No notification, no check cashed...nada.

Just a question to all those who have sent their packet in that have not received an NOA1 or a check cashed. Did you all send your packets with a signature required on delivery? It has been confirmed in previous years that if you send a courier package to Lewisville or a package requiring a signature to the PO Box it can delay the petition.

Just wanted to see if that was the case. I certainly hope not, but if that is what you did at least you have an explanation!

No, I sent my 2 day priority mail. Regular plain old mail. I am really really starting to think that someone in TX is walking around with my application =(

I sent mine overnight priority. It said in the delivery confirmation that someone signed for it. I mailed mine on the 10th and got my email on the 13th. Hopefully you hear something soon, the waiting is the worst.

At this point I would put in in inquiry with the post office. If your check wasn't cashed and you still don't have an NOA1 the post office may have lost it... which would be horrendous!!!

I know your tracking stated it was received but that is the only thing I can think of. I would start by trying to give the post office a call to see if they can give you a more detailed explanation than just the package was delivered.

May 6th seems to be a really long time for CSC not to check a cash or send an NOA 1. Maybe one of the more experienced members can provide some insight as well. If you don't hear back next week, and an inquiry with the post office didn't give any answers, I would create a separate topic in the forum with your info and maybe someone like TBone might have an answer.

I will send you all the good thoughts and mojo I can muster!
