A work permit is called an EAD. You can apply for an EAD as soon as you enter BUT it will only be good until the 90 days from your arrival and since it takes 60-90 days to get the card it is pointless

That dose not apply to k1 visas but to spousal visas your interview will be booked via your embassy not NVC.

My NOA1 was 5/4 and my NOA2 was 7/6 so HANG IN THERE! Two weeks earlier than we were expecting.

I-129F sent: 2016-04-27

NOA1 Email & Text: 2016-05-04

NOA1 Received in Mail: 2016-05-18

NOA2 Email & Text: 2016-07-06 (63 DAYS!)

We almost have the same Timeline, so Good luck to you and to all of us. I know waiting makes everyone anxious. But this is a good news now that USCIS is already starting May filers. This gives me hope that my son is gonna make it to attend the first day of school in the land of free, USA.... We are hoping we could make it in time for me and my son to arrived there before the school starts....

After NOA1 we were out of sight out of mind all through June, now that July is here and seeing that May filers are getting approved I am getting excited again!! Best of luck to us all!

Hello guys. Just a question, would it be wrong if i over sent other documents together with the I 129f form like a copy of my fiances nbi clearance, my w2? Didnt discover visa journey prior to sending the petition lol im just being paranoid the waiting is making me crazy ??
