If you want a more accurate timeline whatever that means... You dont need to put that your file was transferred. When it leaves texas to the center is not a transfer.

Thank you, should I add the consulate where we will be processing or should I wait?

By the way... Did you sign up for electronic notifications? I did. I sent mine on the April 27th. Got electronic notification on April 29th. But hard copy of noa1 was May 3rd. Thats why I ended up a may filer.

Yeah sent the electronic notification. I am hoping to hear something soon. I just hope I didn't screw up on the address. lol I mean it said delivered to the address on the USPS tracking page. We shall see. I know I have to wait a month before even inquiring. This process should come with a 6-8 months supply of Xanax lol

Yea... I think we all need a supply of Xanax. What sux is that they just started getting back logged. I was looking at timelines from a year ago and they were flying thru them. Then towards the end of the year started getting slower and slower. Im expecting and rfe plus my fiancee says she needs the nvc letter to get her police clearance feom from Hong Kong... So im looking at about a year wait.

It seems like it is different for everyone. You never know you may go fast. I know I have extra time ahead of me. This is (unfortunately) my second K1. I know I am going to be under heavy heavy scrutiny and would not be surprised if they called me in for an interview before they send it to the embassy. It is okay though I am ready =). I am not worried about the wait for the NOA2. I won't even be here this summer I will be with my fiance. I just want to know they got it and I didn't mess up the address or anything. =\

Oh... Yea ur good. Im thinking of going to see my fiance in December. I know i have a long wait cause i have criminal background. No awa stuff. But from what ive read they still rfe everyone anyways for anything criminal. It will take me a month to get court docs and then once thats all up she has to send for her police clearance in Hong Kong. She lives in the Philippines. The website says it takes 3 to 6 months for them to mail her the clearance. So I know I have a long wait. My disclaimer to everyone is to not follow my timeline. Lol... At least we have VJ to keep us busy. I think ive read every single post, comment and thread on this site. Even the stuff that dont pertain to me but just cause im nosey. Lol

We just got our NOA1 yesterday! We were so excited. We got the e-notification on the 5/9/16 and received the written NOA1 yesterday 5/16/16. So far so good! I'm from Ireland and my fiance is in Oregon. Going over next month for a vacation for a month.

That's fantastic! I got my e-notification on the 13th, hoping for my NOA1 soon. I live in Florida and my fiance is in London. I'm hoping the process goes quicker than expected because due to work I may not be able to visit him.

I just got a text and email. While I mailed it to Dallas, they did say they are sending it over to California. The email said to expect some form in 7-10 days.

This was a lot faster than I thought. Was expecting it after 5 business days.

My fiancee has lived and worked in a couple of countries so it'll take awhile to get all her police clearances. It is all good since she has some work commitments until Feb 2017. We're patiently waiting and I'll visit her in the meantime. All this waiting will be worth it!
