What database are you talking about? You should have been entered electronically into the system at POE, and any time after that you can go online and retrieve/print I-94. https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home

That is all you need to bring to SS office along with the completed form SS5.

Also, it is recommended you print this out and bring it with you as not all SS personnel are familiar with requirements for K-1 visa holders. https://secure.ssa.gov/apps10/poms.nsf/lnx/0110211530

We were able to print the I-94 immediately and were at the SS office within hours applying. We're just waiting for it to arrive in the mail now, has been a little over 3 weeks.

Anyone went to get ss#? We went a bit earlier while I wasn't in the database yet, they person said he'll verify later and will call me.

Now I'm checking the SAVE case check site and there is a case on me, with just one entry saying Case Returned to Agency (Maryland SSA). Does it mean that everything's ready, anyone knows? It appears to be the mystery of the century, I could't find any comprehensive list of steps/statuses that thing would show.

My fiance went to SSA in New Rochelle NY. the lady told him that for that kind of visa he can not get a SS card so he called me because I was working and I told him go back and tell her to go on line and check that YOU CAN..!!! and don't move until you get her supervisor. Then they told him that he needs to bring the I-94 exits and entries record https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home and the SS-5 application https://www.ssa.gov/forms/ss-5.pdf.

First they said NOOOO.!

They really need to hire people and teach them how at least google stuff.!

https://www.uscis.gov/save/casecheck this is what I'm talking about, there is a case created after the entry in US, they need the information to be in the db to be able to perform a check before issuing the ss#. That's why they say better come in 2 weeks after arriving but that didn't stop us

He had only the application.! but yes they were right but why this lady didn't say that at the first place. She said NOO he can not get a SS card with this kind of visa you need to bring the green card.

then i sent him back and they said YES but we need this this and that.

No, the only thing you need from him is a new letter of intent, the I134 and supporting documentation

It means that they probably print it In case they wouldn't tell you that it was approved it might mean that they need to do more checks but if they approved then you'll get your visa really soon)

I had the status for a half a day and by 3pm they changed it to issued (or whatever the status was, I don't remember)

Also, I had to book my medical 4 days before my interview as it's so booked up due to half term. Will this be a problem for the London embassy?
