My EB2 I-140 was approved on April 5th 2016 . 35+ days have now passed and NVC says that they have not recieved my case from USCIS. Is this normal .I have sent a mail to nvcinquiry@state.gov and nvcresearch@state.gov with the scanned copy of my petition( also attached below). How long is it taking these days for USCIS I-140's to reach NVC ? My I-140 petition is from Lincon Nebraska SC.

The NVC agents seem to have absolutely no clue , before 35 days they simply rote a statement that it will take 35 days and after 35 days they simply rote that send a mail. The timeline for nvcresearch@state.gov responses also vary wildly from 4 days to 85 days according to the agents. Very worried now due to the lack of accountability. Surprised that they still send hard copy petitions from USCIS to NVC in the age of cloud computing. Also how can the petition disappear into thin air ?

49 days and counting and NVC says they have still not recieved my petition from the USCIS. My employer had called the USCIS and they said that they have sent it and it must have been lying in one of the boxes for NVC to open and anyways they cannot help until 90 days have passed. This is extremely stressful situation.

8 weeks has now crossed from my I-140 approval date of 6th April 2016 and still NVC says they have not received my approved I-140. I have a copy of my I-140 petition and there does not seem to be any problem with it. Employer contacted USCIS and they said that although the timelines says 60 days they have until 90 days to action the next step and cannot help until 90 days has passed . USCIS also did not specify what help( if any ) they can offer beyond the 90 day timeline.

I had also contacted my Congressman on this case and they said that I need to wait and keep checking with the USCIS and allow them the time that they need..He said they get a lot of these case and it is very unfortunate ,but there is nothing that they can help with.
