So does this mean it's approved? And if so it should be coming in the mail?

Yes. It has been approved and your card ordered. Be expecting it in mail. It is usually one week from notice to its arrival in mail.

Well I just got an I-797 in the mail that was for I-131 Travel Document.

Considering the Travel Doc and the EAD were approved together, I would have thought they come together in the mail.

I was hoping to get the EAD as I need it for my Cali Driver Lic and also for my Canadian EI stuff... Hopefully it shows up in the mail soon.

Anyone know how long it takes to get the EAD in the mail after the status has changed?

I got the Travel Document on Friday but still no EAD papers, I would have thought they go out the same time

Ok so at least I know what to expect. I'm at the approved stage yet and waiting for the hard copy notices.

So another status saying card being produced and then one saying its mailed before receiving the actual card.

Lots of steps still! I'm sure it's the same for the GC too.

Mine never had a status Approved, it's first change was to what I posted above.

So according to the USCIS it takes up to 30 days to have the EAD sent out from date of issue.

How are they able to send out I-171 forms so fast.... But the EAD takes 30 days?

Is that the date they say your card was being produced? Mine shows that there was a status update on May 11 but when I click the status update it says on May 3rd they ordered a new card

So our status changed online the same day but our actual date is 3 days away (1 business day)

Interested to see if we get the cards on the same day, and when that day is hahaha

I had nothing show up today.
