Police Record in Quebec

Question for my fellow quebecois and especially Montrealers:

What are the steps to get a Police Record in quebec? I called my local police station and they told me that in Quebec it does not work the same way as the rest of Canada (duh it's Quebec) and I cannot do it at my local police station.

How did you guys do it? Thanks!!

And also did you guys get the Certificate of no conviction (name and dob only based) or the full on fingerprint-based police check?

I went there, ask for CPIC

i got mine in a week.i had to fill a form at 1441 Rue Saint-Urbain, Montréal, QC H2X 2M6, Canada. it was quick and easy and says the police record do not have any adverse info about the person. hope it will help
