My gf stayed in US for 8months, does she needs police clearance?

If yes, How can she have it? She's in her country now.

Thank you in advance

She does not need a police clearance from the US. I lived in the US for 3 years and didn't have to send in a police clearance. They do their own background checks when they're processing the application. You only need police clearance from her home country and any other country other than US she may have lived in.

Police certificate is not needed from former or current residents of the US. No matter how long she stayed, it's not required and that's all mentioned on the DOS website travel.state.gov

Good luck

She does not need a police clearance from the US.

However if for some reason she was detained by the police (even if the charges were dropped or not filed), take the time to get a copy of that arrest record for your own files. You don't need to offer it proactively, but have it in case they ask for it. Depending upon the person in charge of your case, they might ask for this. In this circumstance, they can't see what your were accused of, so the very picky ones will put the burden on you to provide the details.
