We are doing DCF for my husband's CR-1. So far things have been good: I-130 approved within 2 days, interview is in less than 2 weeks and I am flying there to be with him(i went back to the US after I-130 was approved). I have a job, a car, a house and some savings in the US, but ever since we made a I-130 appointment all I do is worry. I can't sleep, I can't concentrate on anything but immigration.

If his interview goes well, what if they still put us into AP? What if the interview goes bad? What if they deny him? Not that we have reason for a denial but what if??

And if all is well and he moves this summer, can I really support both of us until he gets a job? In theory my income is enough, but I'm constantly calculating all bills and unavoidable payments and come to different conclusions. His English is pretty bad, and where I live with my work schedule he needs his own car right away. Ugh, so many things!

I'm overthinking, overreacting and just worrying myself to death. The only time I am not worried is during the workout, but I can't spend 24hrs a day at the gym!

I drink camomile or mint tea - they are supposed to calm me down, but they don't. Wine isn't a solution either - if I have a glass or two I start to worry if I'll become an alcoholic before he moves here. All my friends are tired of listening to me by now...

Anything else OTC to try?

same here. I am highly worried and nervous about the interview.

We are some matured couple. I cant live here alone and he can not live there alone.

I have decided to give up my good university job for my husband.

Will they give me the approval..??? this is my question day and night...

Mindfulness is a great activity for more stressful or anxious times. There's apps for it.

Counselling helps too to get the feelings out.

There is a lot of "cross that bridge when you get to it" here; he will most likely be approved, and while there may be a little AP, it is rarely more than a few weeks. If he gets denied (unlikely), then you can;t do anything about it till you know why. His English won't be bad for long once it is all he speaks; you can also look into EFL classes for him, around here many libraries have them.

Look- it is normal to worry, but you cannot let it take over your life. That is not good for you, or your relationship. That is why having a support network with others who go through the same thing, like we have here on VJ, is so important. As to OTC stuff, meditation or Tai Chi may help, and also while away the time some. You might also look into Bach Flower Remedies.
