Minimum income For i130

Hey everyone ,

So my husband has filed his last year tax which its reach the minimum income i guess !!

but i was reading that the nvc asks for the all the 3 last years !

The problem is the other years tax does not reach the minimum income so any advice please?

You should be fine. Current and ongoing income is most important, followed by the most recent year's tax return. They do ask for 3 years a lot of the time, for two reasons: 1. To make sure taxes were field properly and 2. In cases where a sponsor's income is borderline, or varies a lot, to establish a pattern.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

OP is from a more difficult country than Canada. Since last year and current income, however, are over the guidelines you should be okay.

If the income is low, you can use someone as your joint sponser, but that person must live in USA and be permanent resident or US citizen. You can require tax transcript for the most three years from www.irs.com. You also need to provide them

Employment letter

Most recent pay stubs

W2 forms

That is why I did for my case .
