K-1 Income Question and Beneficiary Citizenship Question

Hello! I am so grateful to have found this forum. I have been googling non-stop since beginning out application, and I am seeing a lot of conflicting answers. It is great to ask people going through/ who have been through the same things.

I have two questions currently that I would like some help with, if anyone has insight. My fiance lives in Poland. My income last year was 19,500-- just short of the 125% requirement. However, my pay stubs from this year will show me on track to greatly surpass the requirement. Will the previous tax return present a problem in his interview? If necessary, my mother is a willing co-sponsor but there seems to be some ambivalence over whether that is allowed/helpful with a k-1. Does anyone know?
Secondly, My fiance is a dual-citizen. He lives and wants his interview in Poland but was able to visit me with a German passport on the visa-waiver program. Should I list him as Polish on the application form or German?
I will be poking around the forums and look forward to reading other helpful hints and helping others as I gain experience. We are hoping to file next month. Good luck to everyone else in a similar situation :)

Welcome to the journey!

You'll need a letter from your employer, stating your current position and salary. Back that up with paystubs printed close to your fiancés interview.

If it was necessary, your mother could've co-sponsored. No ambivalence, a lot of people having co-sponsors for K1.

Can you list dual citizenship? Where was he born?

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Good to know! We were considering waiting until January to file so the tax return would show adequate earnings, but the process takes so long that I am glad we don't need to postpone it that long.

He was born in Poland, but his Grandfather was born in Germany before the borders changed. He was technically born with German citizenship too, although he has never lived there, and has both passports. I do not think there is a place to list dual-citizenship on the application.

Thanks for your help!

Part 2, q7, you could write Polish/German.

I don't know what others have done, but maybe attach a brief explanation of the dual citizenship. If he's been travelling on a passport from a country he's never lived in, that could be useful to clarify.
