Hi, i have 2 questons, im native german, currently living in Germany. I lived in Canada from April 2014 to December 2014, so about 8 months. Since its not my current residence and i did not stayed there 1 year or longer, do I even need a canadian police certificate?

All i could find was this:

You need a Police certificate if the applicant:

- is living in their country of nationality at their current residence for more than 6 months

- lived in a different part of their country of nationality for more than 6 months

- lived in a different country for more than 12 months

- was arrested for any reason, regardless of how long they lived there

2. If so, how can i get a canadian Police certificate from Germany? Can anybody help me with this because it seems very complicated, if you currently dont live there.

Yeah, you won't need it. Canada was the country of your previous residence and since you lived there for less than 1 year, it's not necessary to obtain.
