Joint Sponsor is Teacher

Hello. We found joint sponsor for adjustment of status for k1. He is Teacher. He is single. He make enough.

My Question is :

1)in parte 6 of I864form. Question 18.a have you filed federal income tax return for each of the three most recent tax years? What is the answer yes or no?

2) in parte 7 Question 1 to 6 is this parte need to be filed only if the joint sponsor dont make enough income?

1) Only the joint sponsor knows the answer. Did they file taxes for the last years? If yes, then yes. If no, then no. And if no, read the instructions for what they need instead, and don't leave the Total Income from any of the last 3 years blank either. Follow the instructions for that too.

2) Part 7 is for listing assets. Assets are used if you do not meet the requirement through income alone. Assets are optional, as it states on the form and instructions.

If in Question 18.a parte 6 we answer No. Could this be probleme and dont approved our EAD and GC?
