The truth is getting captured does not make you a war hero. The word hero gets thrown around to easily imo.

It's no big deal. They have differing opinions about what constitutes a war hero, but the important thing to remember is that McCain supports Trump for president. McCain understands Trump is by far and away much better than crooked Hillary. They come together for what is better for America.

Only fools and idiots could see it any other way.

I don't know enough about mccains war history to say he is or is not a war hero. I have nothing against him. Just saying a POW does not equal war hero.

Oh blanket statements are really easy to make I guess about persons you could easily research about. The internet is at your fingertips, no need to even go to the library...

What makes a hero to Trumpers these days? Tights and a cape? Shoulder pads and a football? Jim Cramer?

Suffice to say if you decide to willingly place your life on the line in an honorable manner in armed combat (not desk duty) in the service of your country that should at least give you one foot in the door for heroism, and if you're captured and tortured for years during that process I don't think there should be any further scrutiny.

I mean you can disagree with a man's politics, but once you start demeaning their actions in combat you start to wonder what the heck is going on with Mr Tribble-Head and if he's got it glued on a little too tight. I know Trump hasn't been to a library, he's got people to do that for him, but those people also seem incredibly lazy and he's banking on those he panders to, to be too busy drinking his kool-aid to care.
