Yes my USC husband has been living in Australia with me for 3 years, we didn't know about DCF so he flew to USA to submit paperwork :(

DCF isnt available in Australia anyhow. But he could have sent from there vs returning tonthe usa.

Form I-130:

I didn't input the Embassy information ( Montreal, canada ) in I-130 . Do you think they will reject the petition ??

No. It's fine

Well my case was touched yesterday I guess because I just got a text we got RFE!! Not too good news after 4.5 month, but any way.

Good they are working on your case. I have seen with Nebraska , once you respond to RFE it should take 2 weeks, that's my guess..

Mine is May 10....

I still havent recieved anything and they recieved my case on may 2nd. Should i keep on waiting or should i call uscis and make sure

If your case is in Nebraska then that's no surprise. I am April 29 :( Waiting. There are still about 25 to 30% around our date who's files are untouched.

Just a quick update for everyone feeling down :)

So our case was approved on August 4th, but unfortunately that hasn't meant anything in the real world. According to everyone else that waited 4-5months for approval NVC received their files within 2 weeks. We are currently on our 7th week and NVC still hasn't received.

So the reason I say this should cheer you up, is even when everyone else looks like they are going faster than you - there are only a few special cases that are actually moving quicker. We are all getting delays somewhere along the line. And NVC says that they are now taking 8 weeks to process instead of 4 because of the influx.

May 5 - I-130 Received

June 17 - RFE Received

August 4 - NOA2
October 3 - USICIS sent to NVC
October 12 - NVC received (69 days in limbo)
? - case number assigned
? - AOS bill paid
? - call NVC to review DS-261 and get IV invoice unlocked
? - IV bill paid
? - submit DS-260
? - send IV/AOS package
? - scan date

? - cc

? - interview date

Hi!

Query - How much time does it take to get interview date from the date of case approval at NVC?

I received email as well as confirmation from customer care (before email) that my file at NVC was approved on 9th of September - email was sent on 16th of Sept. Now I'm waiting for email with interview schedule date.

Does anyone have any idea on how much time does it take generally?

Thank you very much!

we are approved at Sep 12, so far, we only see the update on the USCIS website, but we haven't received any e-mail nor mail for next stage instruction

so frustrated

Just had a read through the other posts. We filed on the 17th of May. I didn't know how to usethis website at all so I am a bit late to join. I'm a bit forum ignorant.
We have only received the NOA1.

We are a large family and hubby and I have been married for a number of years. All my children are dual citizens we just need hubby to pull through with this visa.

Just hoping everything falls into place soon. It would be a dream to be "home" for Christmas.

Christmas is too early.. Now only they started to process May application.. Long way to go.

NVC stage will take 2 or 3 months.

Last stage is interview.

To be realistic .. March or April 2017 you can expect your hubby..
