Hi there!

Im not sure if this question belongs in here - eep!

I am trying to edit my VJ timeline so it is visible to everyone. I have edited it on here - but I cant see it when I comment on threads. I was wondering if there's something else I am supposed to do? How did everyone else edit and post their timeline? :)

Jan 05, 2016: We got married in Australia ?

May 17, 2016: Hubby moved back to New York

Sept - Nov 2016: Trip to visit Hubby on VWP!

May 19, 2016: I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

May 20, 2016: USPS acknowledged delivery

May 20, 2016: USCIS received I-130

May 25, 2016: Check cashed by USCIS

May 25, 2016: Received NOA1 via email

Service Center: NEBRASKA SC

May 31, 2016: Received NOA1 hard copy

Oct 18, 2016: I-130 transferred to TEXAS SC

Nov 10, 2016: I-130 APPROVED

What most users actually did is put in the details in your "signature"

Go to Edit Profile and edit your Signature, put the info you want people to see like your timeline each time you comment on posts :)

Jun 13, 2016 - POE at Chicago O'Hare

Jun 20, 2016 - Social Security home delivered
July 25, 2016 - Green Card home delivered

Apr 19, 2018 -  Petition I-751 sent to USCIS California Service Center

May 30, 2018 - NOA received

Mar 15, 2019 - Biometrics appointment for I-751

Mar 20, 2019 -  Petition I-751 approved

Mar 27, 2019 -  10-year Green Card received in mail

Sep 24, 2020 -  N400 application sent online; biometrics reused (no addt'l appt)

Jan 14, 2021 -  N400 interview/test scheduled - APPROVED

Jan 19, 2021 -  Oath-taking ceremony!

Ya over time this can get a little old which is why you can hide the signatures cause they can get really long. Regardless, be sure to update the real timeline as that is the mechanism the stats and stuff get calculated off for the estimates and the litany of 'how long' questions.

The timeline link under your profile should work via every post. Currently theres really not anything in yours.

I really like the signatures. I just like to get a feel for wait times etc. I havent got anything on mine just yet, because I havent started my visa journey. I will once my husband leaves the country (May 17th) as he will send it once he's back in the US. I just like to have everything ready. Im excited to *finally start filling out my timeline and signature :)

March 26, 2009: We become a couple!
September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!
June 21, 2010: Engaged!!!
September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
