Wow thanks everyone this has turned into great old time memories for alot. Back in their days the cartoons could "make fun" of other things in their own way but not directly meaning in a harmful way. Its just todays times that now we have to be so careful even in cartoonland not to do or say the wrong thing. Its mostly the adults that see those things, kids dont have those boundries set, (until their parents tell them)

yeah, kinda.. and i've seen R&B, and I don't see the making fun of them, at least they are not saying 'aboot' all the time and drinking labatt..

Speedy on the other side, a bunch of lazy sombrero-wearing mice, having parties all the time? and saying arriba arriba andale? In my first job in mickey d's, one of the shift managers used to shout us 'arriba arriba andale' when we were in a rush, disgusting, very disgusting.... so i guess there's a lot of people who don't have problem enjoying little black sambo cartoons, or those 40's-50's cartoons where the black folks ate watermelon and danced the boogie-woogie

Nah, I think it's more like there's a lot of people who can actually laugh at other's ignorance and at how far off the mark stereotypes can be.

Mysterious Cities of Gold was a class apart. I still have it all in english on VHS because they refused to release the english language version on DVD.

Dogtanian and the Muskahounds, Dungeons and Dragons and Bananaman where competeing for second spot.

OMG. I forgot the Simpsons!! Scratch everything i just typed. Simpsons No1!!! I was about 10 or 11 when that started.

actually me too i was spooked for years about that.

Its a bit like Ulysses - most of the people I've talk to about that show only remember one episode. The one where a guy is shown pushing an endless stream boulders into a bottomless pit.
