my case was completed on 24th april 2016 and i was hoping to get interview within month and now heard about this retrogression .. my cspa age was 20 years and 2 months when earlier date beacome current . filled ds260 on jan 8 2016 .. any effect on my case ???

A visa can only be issued to you in May.

On June 1st, you will no longer be eligible for a visa if your PD is no longer current. You will have to wait until your PD is current again to get a visa.

Your CSPA age is locked in based on when your PD first became current because you have already filed the DS-260.

If you are affected by retrogression, a visa can only be issue to you before June 1. After June 1, you will have to wait until your PD becomes current so a visa can be issued to you. Your CSPA age is locked in and will not change since you have already filed

I have doubt #aaron,What will visa officer say in this case ravinder singh? Did they gave visa to him.

It all depends on what happens at his interview on May 24th. He could be granted a visa. He could be put into AP. There is no way to predict what could happen. I can not predict the future, so I can not tell you if he will get a visa when his interview happens in two weeks.

My Priority Date is 18th April, 2003 and my case closed on 7th April 2016 and I'm waiting for visa interview schedule. So does it mean that after October 2016 I'll have to wait for more than 2 years to get my visa or will I get special preference as my case is closed?

Depends on if they have W2s. I can't give you an answer because I don't know how they file their tax returns.

Your father can do whatever he wants. Working in other countries will not affect a US visa application.
