Hi everyone! After browsing here for weeks, I've finally made an account. Will start processing my K1 visa application this month. *cross fingers*

Anyway, there's just something going on in VJ that I find quite annoying. Mean "top advisers"-- this is my name to those constantly quick to extend help to whatever topic they can.

Of course I appreciate those people, who doesn't?? But I'm noticing an increasing number being quite mean to novice advisers.

I guess if a person was giving out 100% wrong advise, then by all means, call them out. But don't be mean in saying, "you just said what I said." Like once they leave advice, any other person is no longer allowed to give advice? So what if the question was answered in so many ways? It's still correct though. :)

This is a FORUM people! Everybody wants to help each other, to promote discussion. Every OP, would love to receive as much help and support. Those "top advisers" are awesome, giving time and energy to share what they know, helping out. Let's just be nice. :) I mean, you guys were once novice advisers too.

Welcome to the Forum and good luck on your K1 Journey :)

I have made the same comment on "mean" responses to OP and other VJers a few times and unfollow the thread.

My take is people have different experiences in their process and the more the OP can pick up on these comments the better for their application. One may not be applicable over the others and NO ONE can give us exactly the perfect process based on individual experience. Collectively, we can have the best guide for our individual process.

Your process years ago and even a few months back will not be exactly the same. Circumstances change, people/ mood change, processes and laws change all the time.

I myself have several references when I filed my K1 up to the interview process. I used VJ guides and USCIS guides. I am glad if anyone pick-up something from my personal journey and will always be willing to help anyone going through US Embassy Manila.

Cheers everyone :)
