I just got home from school and received an notice to appear for an appointment. However, this is not a typical interview letter I would expect because they asked us to show up and bring co-mingle documents. The reason is "to complete I-485/I130 processing". Form type is G-56.

I panicked since this is not a standard interview notice and we've been waiting for 15 months. Could it be a stoke interview or something? Someone please delight me.

Thank you!!!

We always try to delight on VJ.

Most likely you will be talking to a supervisor, I wonder if they mentioned in the notice some officer in particular to ask for. Most likely they are looking for more evidence and possibly both of you will be separated and questioned. Just take all the documents back with you and if you have any new documents as well.

Also, it could be that they made a mistake with sending you the notice.

NO MATTER WHAT, DO NOT MISS THE INTERVIEW.
