I-130 sent to Nebraska Field Center

I go an email fron USCIS that the case was accepted and en route to Nebraska. Nebraska is the slowest of the all it will take a year before they send the case to NVC, question; what can I do about it other than sit on my butt and wait?!

not a year . its has been a little faster
3-4 months
you can't do anything to make it faster
the best thing to do is to read and prepare for the NVC stage

Nebraska seems to be averaging between 120-145 days for most applications. Where did you hear a year?!! The only reference to a year that I've seen is that we should assume a year from submission of i-130 to visa being granted, and be excited/relieved when it happens sooner :-)
