Quick question before sending package

Hi Guys,

I am going to send off my i-751 package tomorrow, however, I have a concern.

I recently read that I should resubmit all of the evidence i supplied with my original AOS

however, I have since lost all copies of our original lease from 2014 and have tried to call the management company but they are no longer in charge and the new company have discarded all of the old files.

I sent this lease with my AOS 2 years ago, is it going to be a big deal not sending it with the i-751, some of our bank statements that are being sent with the i-751 have that address on. So now I am panicking.

any suggestions?

many thanks!

No, you don't have to send all the evidence from AOS again. You only send evidence from the inception of your marriage. Do you have the leases from when you got married?

Hi Happy Chic,

we got married in 2014 (January) I dont have the lease for the place we lived in then (but did send it with AOS), I have the lease for 2015 and the new one for 2016.

When you send your cover letter, explain that you had submitted a copy of your 2014 lease with your original AOS packet, but you didn't save a copy, and the management company from your apartment has changed in the meantime, and you cannot retrieve one.

When you have a known missing document - it's better to explain it up front than to get an RFE for it 7 months later!

And this time, make a copy of EVERY document you send to them!!!

Any chance you may have made a copy of it and stored somewhere safe and forgot about it? Maybe you made a copy and stored as a PDF on your computer?

I Have checked everywhere,

can't find it. So I should be worried?

You don't need every thing you sent with the AOS, so no worries. You just want some evidence that spans the entire period.
