Hello,

My husband applied to remove his conditions. The application was received on 8/25/15. He had his biometrics appointment in September and we received a letter advising his residency was extended for one year. We have not heard anything back and I just wanted to confirm if this is normal or if we should start calling them to inquire. His application is at VSC.

As of March 16, 2016, not one single person who filed at the VSC in August 2015 had been approved (from the I-751 August 2015 Filers forum).

Unfortunately, the average for VSC is about 10-11 months.

I just wanted to make sure we didn't miss anything. Honestly we've kind of forgotten about it but are planning a vacation in a few months and didn't want an issue. I appreciate the response. Thank you so much!

If your vacation will go over the 1 year mark, make sure to get an I-551 stamp.
