Hi, I'm a college student in jamaica and i had done my interview on the 14th of April 2016. However, i had forgotten my insurance card and was asked to deliver such document at dhl location which i did on the april 15th at 9am.

It's now May 5 and i havent receive my passport with the visa which have me so stressed for the past days now. I am desperately in need of adequate information as to why this processing is taking so long and the expected time span for it to be issued.

You can pick up your passport at any time for travel purposes, but then they won't have it to issue the visa.

Have you checked your status at:

Have you tried contacting them:

Non-Immigrant VisasE-mail: kingstonNIV@state.gov Include your case number in the subject line.
