Hi guys,

I had two quick questions. We filed for CR-1 in Frankfurt in March and got approved now. The NOA2 came in on May 4th although approved April 19th.

Anyways...its from the USCIS Rome although we filed through Frankfurt, anyone know why that is? It did say that it has been forwarded to the Frankfurt Consulate now, I think thats a good thing?

And since it has been over two weeks since we ve been approved, how long should we expect it to take til the embassy contacts us with further instructions?

Thank you so much!

Congrats!

I've read many times that the approval for Frankfurt's DCF actually comes from Rome. Dunno why.

If you still haven't heard from them, try the bottom link in my signature (visible on full version of site). It's the page on Frankfurt's website that has the next set of instructions.

2012: Married
2014 2016 2017: I-130 packet direct to Frankfurt

Frankfurt's "steps" to DCF:

Step 1: I-130 Petition Checklist (PDF, from their USCIS page)

Step 2: Immigrant/Fiance(e) & K-Visa Applicant Checklist (PDF, from their Appointment & Interview page)
