Scan copies or mail of tax clearance

My interview is around the corner, my wife is not comfortable of giving his original employment verification letter, w2 form, and tax clearance. Believing it might get lost on transit. She prefers to scan them to me instead of mailing them in original. My question now is will the embassy accept the scan copies from me?

Pls I need ur help on this.

Yes, scanned copies are fine. But the I-864 form may have to have the original (not scanned) signature. I've heard of someone else getting approved at Lagos with scanned I-864 form so maybe Lagos will accept the scanned I-864 form, but you should be fine with scanned copies of the other tax forms.

I agree. I did not have my latest TAX return and was able to use the previous year and my last two bank statements. All were copies.
