So the petition was filed in 2000 and approved 15 years later , that means to immigration you are 15 years younger than your real age. Right now they are processing petitions 8 years before when yours was filed. You haven't said how old you are. Roughly take your age now, subtract 15 years , add 8 years .... how old would that make you ?

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
