Hi,

I'm just filing for the citizenship but I don't know if I should included our time in Germany, where we were stationed for the last 3 years in the Part 9 - Time outside of United States. Or does it count as if we were in the US? Any suggestions? Thanks for help!!

I'm attaching the orders, of course.

It should count as stay in States as you were on orders with your spouse while spouse is on active duty. When I was filling out for my background check and they required 3 years US residency I spent half of it in Europe, but becasue I was there with my husband who is active duty, it was considered as living on US soil. Nice to see Slovakia :) If you re ever intersted to connect with Czechoslovakians, there is group for czech and Slovakia spouses of military
