So I have two k2 follow-to-join ages 3 and 4. We live in a province and I have to fly to Manila or Cebu to get cfo stickers. I know for a fact that kids around these ages don't need to attend seminar, so I am considering paying and getting their stickers in the airport. Is that possible?

Yes you can but you need to register then still on-line and print out the forms. You also need to call CFO Manila office to make sure there will be someone on the CFO desk of the terminal you are intending to go. I specifically ask this during my CFO. They discourage this option since they only have one staff going around the 3 terminals; thus it is a must that you call and set an appointment for a specific date and time of your departure.

I doubt you can register you children online to get the cfo stickers. I highly suggest you contact cfo directly on this one. Edited by Hank_

There was one during our CFO that has a kid which was 9 years old that is exempted from attending CFO. He was asked if he has the form (on-line registration), requirements and passport with him. He has them and he was advised to pay and the sticker was attached to the kid's passport.

I think the best thing to do is call cfo manila on this one. Do you happen to know the best time to call them? I'm currently in the US and i wanna make sure i get a representative when I make a long-distance call. Y'all are such great help. Thanks for making time to answer my query! ??

The website says a guardian or designated person must attend CFO for registration purposes only since they fall below the age of requirement to physically attend a seminar. I'm sure you have read the requirements and what documents are needed from their website. Since you will be their physically and have their passport, then just have the sticker attached then. I have never heard anyone being able to get and pay for at NAIA without attending or visiting the Cebu or Manila office's. But, there is always a first time.

There isn't a good time for CFO as there office is always busy. Just call between their open and close hours.

Can you return and let us know if you can do everything for your K-2's at NAIA without going to Cebu or Manila. Some of us are curious to know the answer.

I sure will. Will be making our trip to the Philippines by September and will keep you guys posted soon as we're back in the US. I too am feeling doubtful about this whole pay-and-get sticker at the NAIA. So best thing to do is make a call. Just have no good time to call them as of yet as I am currently working here two day jobs to pay for the trip lol

Updates on k2 cfo sticker. It is allowed to pay and get your k2's sticker at NAIA desk. All you have to do is notify the desk by calling them and letting them know about your situation. Also, they will ask what time/date you depart from the Philippines and what day that works for you to make sure someone will be there in the at the cfo desk. Whichever terminal you depart is where you get the sticker. Just bring your cfo certificate with u along with photocopies of the kids' visa and passport and your passport biopage and also bring pictures of your kids as proof that you are the parent. In my case, I wasn't able to prepare that so i told him i have pics in my phone but he said it's ok and he didn't check it anymore. Payment is still the same, 400 for each k2. Hope you'll find this helpful.

Thanks... it's still a little weird that you can pay for children at NAIA but I guess they are below a certain age so it becomes a "tax" collection exercise.

Ya that is interesting, considering... but it is very good to know and I appreciate the update for sure.

The following emigrants are exempted from attending the PDOS, but should still register in person or by an authorized representative:

  • Minors aged 12 and below;
  • Senior citizens (60 years old and above);
  • Those incapacitated due to permanent or long-term ailments; or
  • Those with mental health issues or psychologically-challenged.
