Problems with online system to register appointment/courier info - London embassy

Hi Everyone,

I need a bit of help.

I received the letter from the London embassy saying I have my interview (yay!). It tells me I need to register the appointment on the ais.usvisa.info/en-gb/iv site (Immigrant visa site) and then pay the MRV fee of $265.

I follow the instructions on what options to pick and it asks me for my Name, passport number etc. and then my DS 260 number. I don't have that of course because the embassy site told me previously to complete the DS 160 online form which I did.

I'm presuming it's fine to leave that field? Or would I put my DS 160 number in. My guess is I leave it blank.

I go to the next page book the courier and pay for the home delivery. I go to continue and then it just says to print off the page showing that my appointment is registered and the address the passport is to go to.

It doesn't ask, or let me, pay the MRV fee anywhere. I know I can pay by phone but I'm wondering if anyone else had similar problems?

Thank you for that and I probably should have looked on here first before doing it!

But I'm too far down the rabbit hole now so I've contacted the embassy.
