Thank you all for the great info. I am wondering at what point can my wife apply for a US passport? After the ROC?

You can read all the requirements for citizenship on the N400 form.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

I would suggest you to use the resources available on this website and read all the valuable information yourself so you know everything from starting till end.My wife and I studied everything on this website and knew about the whole process even before I entered USA.This site is a blessing and the information here is worth million dollars.Only thing you have to do is do some self research.

Thank you all for the great info. I am wondering at what point can my wife apply for a US passport? After the ROC?

1. Check the VISA requirement of the country she wishes to visit based on the country of her passport.

If a Visa is required, I would say it is a "lot easier" to get that visa due to the fact that she has a greencard.

2. She can only attain / apply for a USA passport when she becomes a USA Citizen.

This is what you need to check first:

Look at her Greencard, if it has a 2 year expiration date then you need first to "renew" or remove the conditions of her greencard based on your marriage. here is the Link: http://www.visajourney.com/content/751guide

After "renew" removing conditions of her greencard read the requirements so she can apply to become a USA Citizen...one of 2 ways.

1. Based on your marriage - Read the requirements http://www.visajourney.com/content/naturalization_requirements

2. 5 years of having a greencard - read the requirements http://www.visajourney.com/content/naturalization_requirements

Goodluck !!
