They must have realized their problem because as of now (approx 1:24 pm in London) those two instruction pages are changed and the bad hyperlink is removed, but the correct url is still there. Guess they are working on it.

Yea, it only changed at around 11am.

I checked the status link at 9am and it still said cases recieved pre 27th April, then it was gone later in the morning.

As long as the background system which books appointments is working, I'm happy

I scheduled my interview, I am in a quandary though as we are waiting for ours to be scheduled by the embassy whether we should have gone ahead and done it! At least I know I have an appointment at any rate!

But, whatever, they'll be able to work out what's happened since they have our LND, DS-160 etc. Sure they can work out we just 'didn't notice' we weren't meant to

Earliest it let me was 28 days. And only one time showed, though other days may have more.

Requirement 2 Asks for All previous passports. That I don't understand. I don't know about UK but in many countries when you renew your passport they take the old one.

Also EU passport holders don't get stamped when travelling to another EU country.

So I don't understand how that requirement makes any sense. I doubt there's any way to get your old passport back? I'm trying to find this for my wife who has a EU passport, but from Latvia (lives in UK).

Does anyone here have an answer to this? Thanks!

Has anyone going the DCF CR1 route gone ahead and booked? I submitted my notification of readiness 3 weeks ago and haven't had an interview date yet, so considering booking through this? But don't want to mess things up if a date is already in the mail?

Not sure to be honest, I got my old one back when I renewed mine a few weeks ago. But, if it's not routine then they will be aware, it's probably just a standard thing they say.

I believe in the past this was discussed and what was agreed was it wasn't even asked for. But, I would guess if it forms part of your evidence it's good to have/request when renewing? (I didn't)

Ok thanks Tricked. She already got it renewed nearly a year ago. That requirement seems to have qualified that statement with, "especially those that show any international trips."

Which seem to suggest that the previous passport may not be required if there were no international trips.

So assuming they don't consider travel from one EU country to another EU country as an international trip. Then hopefully she doesn't need her previous passport.

The London website has always (well last eight years) said bring all passports, but in reality they don't actually require them. Many people have been through London successfully without their previous passports.

This is a welcome and nice change. Happy for everyone that is now finally able to make an interview time that works for them.

I know it says to bring old and new passports, but I think it's always said that? I remember husband taking his old one with him, and they didn't need it.

Ok thanks Nich-Nick, I wasn't aware of that, cause previously we were focusing on the Cyprus embassy where she used to live.
