Hi! Do you guys think it's fine to schedule an interview even w/o our case not being physically in the Manila USEM?

I called them up and they said, it's not advisable to schedule w/o the confirmation from the embassy bec I might not be eligible for the visa application.

I don't get it. Wouldn't the one and only time the local USEM have its say is in the interview itself? So I hope they're just doing some administrative processing upon the arrival of our case.

So yeah, can I schedule already? Thanks

If you have your MNL# you can begin to schedule your appointment. It's rare that you'll have a small window between the scheduling and the completion of your medical that your paperwork wouldn't have been received. Go ahead and keep moving forward with your scheduling of your appointment, the gathering of your documents and your medical.

Yes it is totally fine to schedule the interview, complete the medical and so forth.
